Duratec is the partner of race the Prague – Karlovy Vary – Prague. The Prague – Karlovy Vary – Prague race belongs to the oldest and longest classic races in today’s road cycling. The Czech cycling enthusiasts K. Tocl, F. Subrt, J. Parrus, Vala a Nerad following French and Italian cycling classics started this tradition in 1921. The length of 263 km long course became a measure of competitiveness of the riders at the time and also a way to promote Czechoslovakian cycling at the international level … It is the longest famous race in the Czech Republic. Duratec signed the contract with management of race for year 2009.Czech hand made products Duratec will be exhibit during the race that is taken place in 19.th September 2009 in Karlovy Vary and in Prague.

Paralympic Winner and UCI World champion Jiri Jezek from Duratec Team had fantastic weekend thanks invitation of Chief magistrate of city Prerov for road race. His 10.th place in race for 135 km is excelent. Congratulation Jiri on result! Duratec exposition introduced road racing and mtb bicycles to all of racers and customers near city Prerov during the race Mamut Tour. You can follow other races and come to see czech hand work. 3 serials of Duratec tandem Czech Cup finished. After Friday’s Memorial of Evzen Cihlar in Prague racers met in Pilsen on Sunday 03.rd May. There took place the doublerace – morning time trial race and road criterion afternoon. Dominant first place has couple Jiri Chyba and Marek Moflar who won in all of serials till this day. Very good position and power have girls Mirka Sedlackova and Jana Jirouskova.

Viktor Zapletal (coach) started new vision the project Ride with us for support of paralympic and handicap racers. Everybody can support paralympic and handicap racers through passive or active action. Other serial continues in Bedrichov on 6.th Juni 2009 – race Jizerska 50km – mtb marathon that is first Czech championships of mtb tandems!

We (as producer) are not limited with very long time purchase of standard „import“ bikes. We have chance to produce in very short time (3–4 weeks) all of models Duratec with customized requests.
